Someone bought it for a mere $4.05 at a Canadian second hand store, and now it’s said to be worth as much as $12,000! The name of the painting is D Head XLVI, which is a part of a series of painting the Thin White Duke created back in the late 90s. Now when you first glance at his painting below, what’s your first thought? Nothing phenomenal, right? Kinda looks like a piece of gum stuck to a canvas. But now that you now DAVID BOWIE is the artist, that probably changes your opinion of it. $12,000 though?
