Featured Pets:
Ocelot
We need your help…Ocelot is still patiently waiting at the shelter for his forever home. Ocelot is a pup that just needs a chance. This guy is so fun and has such a cute personality. Ocelot is a rat terrier and chihuahua mix. He weighs 20lbs and is 2 years old.
Ocelot loves to play and loves his Pupperoni treats…they are the key to his heart. Ocelot can be standoffish at first, but a short walk and some pupperonis and you are sure to be best friends!
Ocelot is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and dewormed. His adoption fee is $150.
Ophelia (ADOPTED!)
Ophelia is our longest resident and is patiently waiting for her new family. Ophelia is a 2-year-old Cattle dog and Pittie mix. She weighs around 40lbs. Ophelia is a smart and playful girl that loves nothing more than a game of fetch and swimming.
Ophelia can be shy around new people at first, but she warms up quickly. Ophelia has been in training, where we have learned with the right introduction, she gets along with most dogs. She is currently in a month-long board and train to get a break from the shelter and to learn some confidence.
If you have ever considered adopting Ophelia, now would be a great time to meet her as her trainer would be happy to help with introductions and getting her settled into her new home!
She is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and dewormed. Her adoption fee is $100.
Ophelia has been adopted! Hooray!
Mouse
Mouse is a stunning, friendly female cat who is once again looking for her forever home. She is a quiet, gentle cat who loves being brushed and enjoys affection. Though she may seem timid at first, Mouse quickly warms up and shows her sweet side. She loves crinkle balls, temptation treats, and catnip toys.
Due to past experiences, we believe Mouse would do best in a home without other cats. We do not know how she is with dogs, but overall feel that Mouse would thrive best as the only pet in a calm environment where she can feel safe and cherished.
Mouse is 4 years-old and her adoption fee is $90.
Yeti (ADOPTED!)
Attention cat people: We are so sad that Yeti still hasn’t found a home yet! This sweet-natured, loving gentleman has been at the shelter since early May. Though he may be a staff favorite, what they want the most is to see him adopted into a warm, peaceful home. The shelter environment can be a little too busy for poor Yeti.
Yeti isn’t particularly playful, but he’s a champion napper! He’s a quiet cat who will occasionally let out a raspy meow when he wants your attention or affection. Other than that, he’s content just being in the same space as you.
Yeti does well around other calm cats, but high-energy kittens and barking dogs tend to make him nervous. He’s also done well with the children he’s met, as long as they are patient and calm when approaching him.
Yeti has been adopted! Hooray!
Isobel
Isobel has been with us since early May of this year. She is a pretty outgoing girl who loves to stick close to you, but unfortunately for her by the time people are coming to visit the cat room she’s usually already settled down in a cozy spot up away from all the action. Because she’s not usually out when people come, Isobel has gotten overlooked. She’s such a good cat that we really can’t think of any other reason why she would still be waiting to find her forever home.
Isobel is a little over a year old and her adoption fee is $90.
Pepsi (ADOPTED!)
Need a running buddy that isn’t too big? Pepsi can be your motivation! This aptly named fellow is just as bubbly and energetic as his namesake. Pepsi is a nice, friendly and happy boy with lots of energy. He needs a fun family that will incorporate lots of play time into their day. Pepsi loves people and has never met a stranger.
Pepsi is a 1-year-old Terrier mix and he weighs around 15lbs. Pepsi is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and his adoption fee is $400.
Pepsi has been adopted! Hooray!
Luna (ADOPTED!)
Luna is still waiting for her forever home. Luna is a 3-year-old Chihuahua mix and weighs less than 15lbs. Luma is a sweet and loving girl. She has lived with other dogs and has done well with the cats on our property.
Luna is a bit nervous with strangers, but a short walk and she will be friends quickly. Luna is calm and well mannered. She will make a perfect little friend for an adult or older child home.
Luna is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and dewormed.
Luna has been adopted! Hooray!
Momma Cat (ADOPTED!)
Momma Cat has got to be one of the most perfect cats there ever was! She is so sweet and gentle, which is how she quickly worked her way up to being an all-around staff favorite. She is good with being picked up and held or carried around. Momma cat will need brushed often as she has lots of fur that can tangle easily if left unmanaged. Grooming is pretty easy to do with her because she loves to be brushed all over, including her belly and tail. She will simply roll over onto her back and just purr away while you work.
Momma Cat is 5 years old, and her adoption fee is $90.
Bianca
Bianca is a lovely, sweet, 3-year-old Lhasa mix that weighs around 20lbs. Bianca was found as a stray and sadly we were unable to find her owner. We can tell this precious girl has had babies and had a bad case of fleas. It’s her turn to be spoiled and well cared for. Bianca was easy to groom and has been friendly with everyone. She is just the nicest girl and is ready to meet her forever family.
Bianca has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed. Her adoption fee is $400.
Starbuck
Starbuck is an incredibly friendly dilute Tortie. She does well around other cats, even though she tends to keep to herself. She doesn’t go out of her way to be a loaner, she’s just content with or without the company. While she loves to lounge around relaxing a lot of the time, Starbuck also enjoys playing with feathery wand toys when she gets the chance. Starbuck has been at the shelter since April of this year. If you can’t adopt, please share with all your friends and family, so we can find this friendly gal a home!
Starbuck is 5 years old, and her adoption fee is $90.

Bean
If you’ve stopped by our Greenwood Petsmart adoption room lately, you may have seen what you thought was an empty kennel. Inside this kennel is Bean! This shy girl has so much to offer. She likes to be held and will sit in your arms and make biscuits until you’re ready to set her down. It took her a while to get used to her surroundings, but once she did, we learned she loves to play! She is very curious about the other kittens and would likely benefit from a confident feline friend in her forever home.
Bean is 4 months old, and her adoption fee is $135.
Strider
Strider, the most handsome fella, is still available for adoption. This amazing feline is a curious fella, a bit odd and will be affectionate on his own terms. He loves other cats and we insist that he go to a home with at least one other cat. He’s a rambunctious boy with lots of energy to burn and lots of love to give.
Strider is a stunning 1 year old ready for his forever family! His adoption fee is $90.
Jules (ADOPTED!)
Jules is a 3-year-old English Bulldog mix. She weighs around 45lbs. Jules is just the best girl and has a wonderful personality. She loves everyone she meets; she behaved amazingly during her medical work up; she loves snacks and seems to like other animals.
Don’t pass up on this precious face! Jules deserves a home where she will be cherished and spoiled.
Jules is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed. Her adoption fee is $450.
Jules has been adopted! Hooray!
Hiro
If you’ve visited the shelter’s cat room in recent months, you might recognize this big guy. Hiro is a cat who has come a long way since being here. After he was surrendered last summer, it was clear that he had been through some serious stress. It took months of consistent daily work from staff but over time Hiro slowly started to trust those he grew familiar with. He now welcomes being loved on and can be very loving himself. He loves getting treats and playing with toys. Hiro needs to go to a patient person who is experienced with cats. He tries his best to be a good boy, but sometimes things get overwhelming, and he forgets his manners. He does alright with older, calmer kids but will need to go to a home with no small children. With love, patience, and respect, Hiro can be and has become a wonderful cat.
Hiro is 4 years old, and his adoption fee is $90.
Wallace and Gromit
Wallace (yellow scarf) and Gromit (orange scarf) are waiting to find their new homes. These 2 adorable boys are not a bonded pair, but we felt like they should be shared at the same time. These boys are shy and nervous at first but are friendly and playful when they warm up. Both dogs have lived with other small dogs and children. They are both 2 years old and weigh around 20lbs.
Wallace and Gromit are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed. Their adoption fee is $350.
Pandora
Pandora is looking for a lap to keep warm! Pandora is a 4-year-old, female Shih-tzu. She likes other dogs and keeps her kennel clean. Pandora is a bit shy at the shelter, but her personality is beginning to shine through! Pandora would do great in a home with children 12 and older. She walks well on a leash and loves extra attention from her favorite people.
Pandora is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed. Her adoption fee is $400.
Maggie
Maggie is a sweet, female feline that was found outside a stray. She was skinny and stained from her time spent outside. Despite her rough start, Maggie has been nothing but friendly from the moment she came in! She’s now clean and has gained some healthy weight. She is just waiting for her forever family. Maggie is a bit nervous when meeting new cats, but she doesn’t seem to have any real dislike towards them. We’re unsure how she is with dogs, but with a little patience, we believe she’ll thrive in any loving home.
Maggie is 6 years old, and her adoption fee is $90.
Toby
Meet Toby! This little fluffy Pomeranian is 5 years old and is house trained, crate trained and walks well on a leash. Toby is shy at first but is soon friendly and loveable.
