‘Golden Bachelor’ Couple to Divorce Three Months After Televised ABC Wedding!

Who am I to judge a short-term marriage? I’ve been to the Little White Chappel in Vegas when I was young and dumb! It was college Spring break and let’s just say that even if it’s a drive thru wedding it’s legal. A few weeks later my dad helped me get the Spring break fiasco annulled. But there wasn’t social media back then and there were never weeks of courtship on TV in front of millions of hopeful viewers to witness a stunt like TV’s The Golden Bachelor just pulled. Or at least that’s how a lot of fans on social media are feeling.

Viewers of all ages fell in love with Gerry Turner who’s from Indiana and Theresa Nist, as they fell in love with each other on ‘The Golden Bachelor” last year. The two seemed to prove that no matter what you’ve been through, it’s never too late to find love.

So, when Turner, 72, and Nist, 70, announced recently − three months after they married on live TV in January − they’ve decided to divorce, fans are unsurprisingly, disappointed. This couple was just on the season finale of The Bachelor in the audience attending as royalty.

So, what happened to their fairytale ending?  Gerry and Theresa say they still love each other but can’t live together. Are they giving the rings back to Neil Lane? Are they giving their honeymoon vacation freebie back? Find out here: ‘Golden Bachelor’ Gerry Turner, Theresa Nist divorce news shocks, but don’t let it get to you (msn.com)
