Picture it: you’re walking down the street in a quite Chicago neighborhood, when all of a sudden you see lots of cash blowing across the street! That’s exactly what happened recently in the community of OakPark. According to CBS News Chicago, supposedly a Brinks Armored truck’s doors burst open and three bags of cash fell out! $300,000 was littered all over the street and witnesses say people began stuffing their pockets! What would YOU do?
I can remember when I was a kid growing up in Kokomo, Indiana, I found $15 in cash laying in the street in front of our house. At 9 years old, that was like hitting the lottery! My parents speculated that some city road workers who were filling in potholes probably had a hole in their pocket and lost the money. Did I return it? Nope. I didn’t know for sure it was the street crew. That $15 provided a fun afternoon at the local arcade and snack stand~
