Talk about being at the right place at the right time. Jon Bon Jovi was filming a music video in Nashville, Tennessee earlier this week. It took place on a busy bridge, but production came to an immediate halt when they noticed a woman was standing on the ledge, appearing to prepare to jump to her death. As you’ll see in the surveillance video below, Jon and a member of the video production staff walk over to her, realizing something was very wrong. They were able to convince the woman to come back to the other side of the railing and embraced her. It’s this type of compassion that the world needs now more than ever. Who knows what this distraught woman was experiencing. Thank God Jon and the assistant were there and patiently talked with her, showing her there was another option. The chief of police in Nashville was quoted as saying, “A shout out to Jon Bon Jovi and his team for helping a woman on the Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge . . . It takes all of us to help keep each other safe.”
