A woman took to TikTok complaining about a t-shirt sold for girls that she found to be ‘sexually suggestive’. As you’ll see below in her video she posted online, the shirt has two strawberries on the back with the caption ‘Take a bite’. It also reads, ‘A burst of sweet delight, making it the perfect summer snack’. It also reads on the back, ‘The strawberry, a small burst of joy’. Innocent enough and true, right? The clothing store chain, Zara, has decided to pull the shirt. Oh come on! Look, I get that there are hidden meanings in messages on certain t-shirts, but mostly adult clothing. Even if this is a teen’s shirt, I’m not following this woman’s logic that it is a sexual reference (and I can a sophomoric sense of humor like the best of them!) Am I missing something?? Do ‘strawberries’ have a new meaning or is this something that’s an inside joke among teens these days? Zara should have never pulled the shirt~
