It’s been a “spincredible” run for “Wheel of Fortune” host Pat Sajek, but it’s coming to a final spin end.

Pat Sajak will host “Wheel of Fortune” for the final time on June 7, ending a run of more than 40 years and 8,000 episodes. “Wheel of Fortune” is airing some of Sajak’s funniest moments this week in the episodes leading up to his grand finale.

Sajak announced his retirement last year. But he’s not totally leaving the Wheel family because, Sajak will remain on board as a consultant for three years. The network has tapped Ryan Seacrest as Sajak’s replacement for season 42. Thanks for the memories, Pat! Some of my favorite memories with my mom (I’m her caregiver) are solving those puzzles together and when she solves them before anybody else her eyes light up. This makes my heart sing. Wheel of Fortune is truly a family show.
