Ryan Reynolds is launching the” War of the Popcorn Buckets” for his upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine film.

Deadpool 2 starring both Reynolds as Deadpool and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, the comment is directed at the recent viral sensation of the popcorn bucket for Dune 2.

The video accompanying his post featured footage, set to dramatic music, showing a bucket made to resemble the helmeted head of X-Men character Wolverine — mouth agape, so fans might eat popcorn out of his maw.  “Years from now they will look back at 2024 as the year/ the War of the Popcorn Buckets began”.  Reynolds shared his statement on his social media.  Deadpool & Wolverine lands on big screen July 26th. Buckets of popcorn up!
