Man Fined For Attempting To “Body-Slam” A Killer Whale!

OK……not a good decision…….

A man recently tried to jump off a boat and “body-slam” a killer whale……Yes! An orca!

A video of the incident involving a 50-year-old man was posted on Instagram last February. A member of the public saw the clip and reported it to the New Zealand Department of Conservation.

The DOC followed up on the incident, and fined the man $600.00. And technically, he’s lucky the whale didn’t get aggressive, because Killer Whales are not intimidated by humans!
