Kevin Bacon cut loose again over the weekend, returning to the Utah high school where he filmed the teen classic Footloose more than 40 years ago.

Bacon danced his way to a stage on a Payson High School athletic field Saturday to greet students before what likely was the final prom held at the school, which is set to be torn down next spring.

“When I first heard about this Bacon to Payson thing, I was like, ‘Wow, this is crazy.’ But you were all just tireless,” Bacon said in his speech on the school’s football field on Saturday.
