It wasn’t the flashiest car at a recent Classic Car auction in North Carolina, but it’s previous owner was known world-wide. The late Jimmy Buffett’s 1963 Ford Falcon convertible went for a whopping $258,500! Again, it’s not a sports car or something that would turn heads. But the mere fact that Buffett once drove it caused bidders to push the winning price to over a quarter of a million dollars. So was it worth it? To a collector, I’m sure it was. As you’ll see in the news video below from WFMY News 2, it’s in pristine condition. Back in the day, this car originally sold for somewhere around $2,500~
