It’s been five decades in the making. The Beatles final song, ‘Now and Then’ will be released this morning (November 2nd) at 10:00 (ET). It’s been five decades in the making, and thanks to incredible technology, John Lennon’s portion has been cleaned up and will be mixed down with the rest of the band. Beatles fans will also be given a behind the scenes look at this process in the short film below. McCartney narrates, explaining how John Lennon would absolutely want the song to finished.

I’m not a fan of some A.I. technology, but the software that was created to bring this song to life is very impressive. Had it not been for Peter Jackson’s team who is responsible for the digital editing, ‘Now and Then’ would still be sitting on a shelf~
