No one is ever ready to say goodbye to a friend. Certainly the case for those who admired and loved Jimmy Buffett. After his battle with skin cancer, fans and fellow musicians were shocked to learn of his passing earlier this month. We’re now learning that the iconic singer was working on new material for an upcoming album that will include the talents of Paul McCartney. November 3rd, ‘Equal Strain On All Parts’ will be released, featuring this song, ‘Bubbles Up’. Paul recently commented on social media the meaning of the song saying, “He turned a diving phrase that is used to train people underwater into a metaphor for life when you’re confused and don’t know where you are just follow the bubbles – they’ll take you up to the surface and straighten you out right away.” It’s a beautiful song with deep meaning. Maybe it can apply to your life right now or someone you know who’s struggling.
