Tom Holland, the actor best known as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has announced he’ll be taking a year off from acting. This is primarily due to the intense production of his latest show on Apple TV+, The Crowded Room.

Holland said that the production “Was a tough time, for sure. We were exploring certain emotions that I have definitely never experienced before. And then on top of that, being a producer, dealing with the day-to-day problems that come with any film set, just added that extra level of pressure.”
