Willam Shatner Reveals Why He Hesitated To Do A Documentary On His Career Up Until Now

Seven decades. That’s the incredible amount of time that William Shatner has been entertaining fans. And he did just that this past Sunday night at Clowes Memorial Hall on the Butler University campus. After a screening of ‘Star Trek: The Wrath Of Khan’, Shatner shared stories about the movie, his life and other projects he’s been a part of. I was invited to be the moderator and truly enjoyed the experience (as did the sold out audience!). Shatner talked about his trip to space with Jeff Bezos…working with James Spader in ‘Boston Legal’ and other Hollywood A listers. Bill has a documentary called, ‘You Can Call Me Bill’ that will be featured at the SXSW film festival this week, where it will be scooped up quickly by one of the streaming giants. I asked him why he had been reluctant to do a documentary about his career and life all these years. His answer is at :45 in the video below.
