I enjoy a good horror movie, but the kind that makes me jump from something on the spooky or mysterious side of things. And now I’m hearing about Hollywood turning loveable Bambi into a vicious killer horror flick. “Oh Dear”!

You never asked for a ‘Bambi’ horror movie, but you’re going to get one. Yes, the light and breezy (yet painfully heartbreaking) Disney animated classic is getting reworked into a live-action adult film which has been described as turning Bambi into a “vicious killing machine”.

It’s all happening off of the back of the infamous ‘Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey’ live-action horror, movie set for release in the new year. Since the original ‘Winnie-the-Pooh’ book is now in the public domain and isn’t exclusively a Disney franchise, director Rhys-Waterfield decided to turn the cute little pooh bear storyline into a murderous slasher. Now he’s doing the same thing with Bambi.

‘Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey’ is set for release in February 2023.
