9/11 Anniversary Ceremonies Taking Place In Indy This Weekend

It’s been 21 years since that horrific day that changed our lives forever. September 11th, 2001. Terrorists attacked New York City and the Pentagon. 2,977 innocent lives were lost and tens of thousands of others were injured. This Sunday, two public ceremonies will be taking place in Indy on what’s now known as Patriots Day. The Indianapolis International Airport will host an observance with a piece of the World Trade Center, from Ground Zero in New York City, will be placed in the Civic Plaza of the airport. Ben Davis High School Premiers will also perform during the event. And you will see a beautiful lighting display on Monument Circle in downtown Indy this weekend to remember the heroes and the lives lost on 9/11. #WeWillNeverForget
