Anne Heche Taken Off Life Support After Having Been Matched For Organ Donations

Anne Heche was taken off life support after she was matched for organ donation, according to a family representative .

The “Six Days, Seven Nights” actress, who sustained severe burns during a horrific car crash earlier this month, was formally declared dead by the state of California on Friday. announcing she had no brain function. Heche was 53.

 Due to her death, the LAPD investigation into the crash won’t move forward. The fiery car crash, it would later become clear, was her third car crash within a 30-minute span.

Heche was best known for her roles in the soap opera Another World and films such as Donnie BrascoPsycho and Six Days and many others. Heche earned a Daytime Emmy Award for her role in Another World. She portrayed Vicky Hudson and Marley Love. Those roles also earned her two Soap Opera Digest Awards.
