For today’s “Throwback Thursday”, let’s jump in the time machine and head back to this week in 1981. Actually, April 11th, 1981 to be more specific.

That was the date that guitarist Eddie Van Halen married actress Valerie Bertinelli.

The couple met in 1980 after Valerie’s brother took her to a Van Halen concert. The couple were married for more than 20 years and had one child, Wolfgang. They would eventually seperate in 2001 and get divorced soon after.
