Sting joined Jimmy Fallon on ‘The Tonight Show’ recently and surprised fans with some cool new music news. The legendary bassist said he’ll be releasing his first ever duets album just in time for Christmas! Sting told Jimmy that over the years he has done numerous duets with the likes of Eric Clapton and many others. Now that’s a Christmas surprise for any Sting fan that will not disappoint! I love that at this point in his career, Sting is looking through his archives and realizing he has A LOT of music he can share with his fans. He went on to tell Fallon that he’s even recorded some new duets this year that will make it on the album. And like many other musicians, I’m sure Sting will prove that you can collaborate even remotely. We’ll share more details as to when the album will be available.
