Looks like it’s bad news for the late Eddie Money’s estate. They’re being sued for a hefty $1.5 million dollars by Eddie’s former guitarist, John Nelson. TMZ reports that Nelson claims he had a written and verbal agreement to profit from royalties that go as far back as the mid 80’s. But he alleges he hasn’t been paid. This isn’t the first time we’ve heard grumblings from former band members of Eddie’s. In 2015, Eddie laid off his band and brought his kids on board as his backing band. Supposedly he was going to bring the original band back. We’ll have updates on how Eddie’s estate responds to this lawsuit and we’ll keep you informed if it goes to trial.
