‘Everyone’s Free To Wear Sunscreen’ Song Gives 2020 Grads Excellent Advice On Life

\”The Sunscreen Song\” came out in 1999 by Baz Luhrmann. He used an essay penned by columnist Mary Schmich back in 1997 that appeared in the Chicago Tribune as lyrics for a song that dispenses some very useful advice, especially for graduates. Things like,

\”Don\’t waste your time on jealousy
Sometimes you\’re ahead, sometimes you\’re behind
The race is long and in the end, it\’s only with yourself\”

I love this song because the advice you\’ll hear is something most of us can put into use right now. Best wishes to all the graduates of the Class of 2020.
