Magic Behind The Mask Likely When U.S. Disney Parks Reopen!

It\’s the magic behind the mask!  Disney Parks in the U.S. aren\’t set to reopen yet, but when they do CEO, Bob Chapek says to expect some changes.

One major change expected is the requirement for guest and cast members to wear face masks, along with social distancing and even a temperature check.

I don\’t think guests will mind the extra precautions and more than likely the attendance will be limited so that could mean much shorter lines.  As a former Disney cast member, back in the day, I was one of many Cinderella cast members in the Magic Kingdom and I will say that getting hugs from all those bright shiny faces on the kids made my day. Although the hugging will most likely go to the wayside, the warm and fuzzes will be still be there and it\’s likely Disney will create new photo opp areas that make the 6 feet apart rule quite magical!  But I am glad that I got to experience the real deal hugs and not the virtual hug!

If you still need a dose of Disney magic, Disney Springs, a large shopping and dining complex located outside Disney World in Orlando is planned to open on May 20th.  As the cast members at Disney say \”Have a Magical Day\”!
