They were childhood friends and school lads together in England and now Peter Frampton reveals in his upcoming memoir \”Do You Feel Like I Do\” that David Bowie saved his life in more ways than one.
Frampton describes the situation like this \”We were on a private jet getting ready to take off for a tour when David noticed smoke rolling into the cabin and he yelled smoke\”! The captain stopped, the attendant lowered the chute
and \”Dave scooped me out of my seat and carried me down the chute\”. Frampton goes on to say that he will never forget that moment and that\’s just the kind of guy David Bowie was..kind and caring.
