Could Our Concert Season In Indiana Be Affected By The Coronavirus?

There are A LOT of really good concerts already coming to Indiana this year including, Elton John, Billy Joel, Buffett, Santana, Guns N\’ Roses, Doobie Brothers, and many more! But with the recent coronavirus crisis that is spreading across the U.S., it has fans worried that the show may not go on. I would imagine promoters are also getting a little nervous with the thoughts of postponing or even cancelling concerts this year. We\’ve already heard about bands like Pearl Jam postponing the first part of their tour due to the coronavirus…Miley Cyrus has backed out of a benefit concert in Australia over the same concerns. A new term to many of us is,  \’Social Distancing\’. The idea is that to stay safe and not contract the coronavirus, you limit your activities in large groups of people. If someone who has the virus were to sneeze or cough, experts say they could project those germs 6 feet away.

I get it, this will REALLY suck if we see any of the concerts planned for Indiana cancelled or postponed. But ask yourself, would you chance going to a concert this summer knowing that there could be infected people there? Some might say, \”Yes, because I\’m not going to live my life in fear\”. Others may give it a second thought. Time will tell~
