Circa 1980, I was allowed to pick out what I wanted to wear for Picture Day at school. Instead of opting for the goofy Donald Duck t-shirt, I thought I would impress the ladies with my brown and white plaid shirt and corduroy “gamblers” vest. I completed the look by tucking the complimentary comb the photographer gave us, into my vest pocket. And as you’ll notice in my photo, my bangs are slightly off. A couple of weeks earlier I decided to play ‘barber’ and cut my own hair. And speaking of hair, WHAT IN THE HELL IS UP WITH THE BOWL HAIRCUT?! It’s basically a helmet of hair stuck on my head! Apparently my parents didn’t believe in styling gel…or mirrors. But hey, Happy National School Picture Day 2019~
