A West Virginia principal has been suspended for 5 days with no pay for allegedly using parts of actor Ashton Kutcher’s speech he gave in 2013 at the Nickelodeon Teen Choice Awards. As you’ll hear in the video below, the principal uses parts of it in his speech to this year’s graduating class…and he never credited Ashton, but instead made it sound like it was from HIS own experiences! WHOA! Kutcher responded on social media, writing: “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness.”- Oscar Wilde. * cite your sources kids and faculty” Take a listen to the first part and then fast forward in about 22 seconds to hear Ashton’s speech.
