When I think of thee greatest men who have played in the NBA, easily in my Top 10 I would list Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. But when I saw this story that he\’s putting 4 of his 6 priceless NBA Championship rings up for auction, I was shocked. Yes, he\’s doing it for a good cause, because \”most\” of the proceeds will be funding his Skyhook Foundation that benefits children. That\’s extremely generous of Kareem, but those rings have such a unique and personal meaning, right? Or maybe once you win one, two, three, four, five or six rings (as he has), they lose their meaning. Some things should just be off limits.
