Duff McKagan has a new song out, called \”Cold Outside\”. As you\’ll hear in the song below, it addresses the homeless problem we have in our country. Very moving images in the video. Anytime a musician takes on a social issue, they\’re obviously speaking from the heart but they\’re taking a gamble on whether it\’s too heavy for their audience. Jon Bon Jovi recently talked about that with their new album. Of course singing about social change isn\’t anything new. It\’s been the focus of thousands of songs from rock to the folk genre.
