The gentle giant, the man who brought CHEWBACCA to life for Star Wars fans has died.   He brought light & positive energy to the Dark Side!

Actor Peter Mayhew, who played Chewbacca in the original trilogy, died at his North Texas home on Tuesday with his family by his side. He was 74.

The seven foot 3 inch actor was discovered while working as a hospital attendant in London.  A year later he was cast as Chewbacca, the 200-year-old Wookiee Warrior!
