For those that can remember the legendary TV show ‘WKRP in Cincinnati’, there’s one episode that will forever be etched in our mind: the time LIVE turkeys were dropped from a helicopter for a radio promotion! That hilarious episode is considered one of the best moments in TV history. Well fast forward to 2026…there’s a radio station in Ohio that bought those famous call letters and will be bringing that stunt back to life this month! WKRP will give listeners a chance to purchase a rubber turkey, with proceeds going to a food bank. The rubber turkeys will then be dropped high up from the top of a firetruck ladder and the one that hits a specific target wins a cash prize!
