The new ‘Ebenezer’ movie is coming out next month, and producers have created a clever way to help promote it: you can request money from Ebenezer Scrooge via Venmo! And he might actually send you some!…well, a whole PENNY! For those that remember ‘A Christmas Carol’, that seems about right. Someone requested $500 for their student loan and Ebenezer did send them money…well, one cent with the message, “Generosity has it’s limits”.
