LOL. Most of us have used that abbreviation when replying to a text or on a social media post, right? It’s basically a throw away comment to end the conversation, but now Gen Z’ers is asking millennials to knock it off. And do you know why? They say it can taken as being ‘hostile’! WHAT?! I would think ‘WTF’ would be seen as more hostile. Here are some alternatives to LOL:
1. LAL – Laughed A Little
2. WTHS – What The Hell, Sure
3. LBO – Laughing By Obligation
4. LUT – Let’s Unpack That
5. TJNW – That Joke Needs Work
6 BTUIT – Bringing This Up In Therapy
7. IST – I’m Screenshotting This.
