The University of Tennessee Volunteers football team will carry a little piece of Dolly Parton onto the field this season.
Head Coach Josh Heupel called Dolly the “Queen of East Tennessee, and had nothing but praise for her regarding the impact she’s had, not just in Tennessee, but all across the country, and technically, all over the world.
In the past, Dolly has delivered the school’s commencement address, received an honorary doctorate, and performed on campus many times during her tour stops. The school feels Dolly will always be a Volunteer. In this life and the next.
So, the football team recently announced that they will wear a special sticker on their helmets honoring Dolly.
The sticker will be an orange butterfly with Dolly’s name on it.
Pretty cool. Just CLICK HERE/PEOPLE.COM to read more and see the sticker.
