I’m sure by now you’re heard the news:
Dolly Parton passed away yesterday after a brief battle with cancer at the age of 80. She was an extremely talented singer, songwriter, actress, humanitarian, author and playwright. So talented, and so giving.
She will be laid to rest alongside her husband Carl Dean at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Mausoleum in Nashville.
And what you might not know, is that Dolly has a “secret song” that won’t be released until her 100th birthday in 2046!
The song’s title is “My Place in History”, and it was written to be her last.
Where’s that song now? It’s currently locked in a wooden “Dream Box” time capsule at Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort!
