Around 39-46% of adults in the United States believe in ghosts.
Surveys over recent years show that roughly four out of ten people think spirits of the dead can return or that places can be haunted.
And seeing a ghost might not be a “bad” thing.
20% of people have felt an immediate negative reaction, and 25% reported some suffering, BUT, roughly 51% said the experience had a positive long-term effect on their life.
