For those of us who grew up in the 70’s here in Central Indiana, we remember watching Janie on WTTV 4. She could sing, play the ukulele and keep kids entertained and even taught them everyday on her show. Janie passed away over the weekend at the age of 92. Janie Hodge was an IU graduate with a background in music which was very obvious on her show. She was so talented and loved. I can remember as a kid, enjoying Janie’s show along with Cowboy Bob and get scared watching Sammy Terry. Janie was inducted into the Indiana Broadcasters Hall of Fame recently.
