I’m sure you remember the Classic Hit, ‘Message In A Bottle’ from The Police? Well, here’s a real life story of a 53-year-old message in a bottle that was recently discovered! UPI news did a pretty cool story on how a 9-year-old girl named Laurie Blair from New Jersey, pulled a bit of a prank back in 1973. 6 ABC news out of Philly reported that John Kauterman is the man who found the bottle and decided to share his discovery online. Eventually Laurie’s sister, Allison heard about the message in a bottle and recognized it was created by her sister. Sadly, Laurie passed away in 2017 from cancer, so she was beyond thrilled to hear about the bottle and to receive the note as a keepsake and memory of her sister~
