This is pretty interesting.
Because you’ll always hear rock stars doing interviews and saying that being in a band is a lot like being married.
In other words, it’s not easy. You tend to get on each other’s nerves, sometimes drugs and alcohol can be a problem, and of course, you’ve always got managers and promotors whispering in band member’s ears that they could go solo and they don’t need the band.
So, needless to say, bands split up, bands call it quits, band members try the solo route, and so on and so forth.
So, back to the interesting point I made earlier.
Loudwire.com put together a list of the longest-running rock and metal bands. I’m talking groups that have been together 40+ years! And they have never broken up, or gone on hiatus.
