Question: would you rather hear a classic hit like, ‘Start Me Up’ from The Rolling Stones, or one of their new songs they just created? No contest, I wanna hear any band or artists’ classic hits. Billy Joel sat down recently with Rick Beato and talked about why he no longer writes new music. Certainly not out of laziness, I mean the guy was still performing up until last year but stopped due to health issues. But Billy has countless classic hits that will live on forever, and even younger generations have fallen in love with them. I agree with The Piano Man. Artists and bands don’t need to keep ‘reinventing themselves’.
