Fellow fans of ‘Friday the 13th, get ready to head back to Crystal Lake. Peacock is putting out a prequel series this Fall that will introduce fans to Jason’s mom, Pam Voorhees. Let’s face it, the ‘Friday the 13th’ franchise, which began in 1980, ran out of steam after 11 sequels. So, they decided to explore Jason’s tragic drowning and how it affected his mother. As you’ll see in the trailer below, ‘Crystal Lake’ has the same creepy feel to it the way ‘Friday the 13th’ did (at least the first one). I’m a big fan of horror films, especially classics like ‘Friday the 13th’ and love the fact that there will NOT be another sequel~
