Even “excessive”, “extravagant”, maybe even “outrageous”.
And I get it. As a parent, you’re proud of your children. You’re thrilled when they hit certain milestones like their first steps, learning to ride a bike, writing their name, the first day of school, and so on and so forth.
But to throw a huge celebration for their “first tooth”?
