
When you think back to the original ‘Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory’, it was Gene Wilder that brought that classic movie to life. Sadly, he’s no longer with us…but with the help of A.I. technology, Gene’s voice is now being used for a new teaser for an upcoming reality show: ‘Wonka’s The Golden Ticket’. The competition will take place on Netflix starting this September, where 12 lucky contestants will be partnered with a teammate, taking on challenges inspired by the movie and book. Should be really good, however, Nextflix missed one HUGE opportunity! How were the contestants for this show chosen? Netflix and the creators of the show should have partnered with a chocolate bar company, i.e Hershey or Dove, and planted 12 golden tickets in their bars and made this into a fun nationwide contest! How on earth am I the only one who’s thinking of this??? And 50% of the proceeds from the sales of these special chocolate bars could have gone to a charity like St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital~
