When it comes to rock music, drum beats can be flat-out infectious! They can be addicting! They totally draw you into any given song!
And drum intros, certainly do just that! Once you hear them start, you reach for the volume knob to turn it up! Right?
(That or you immediately start “air drumming” or smacking the dashboard in your car! haha!)
And what are some of the best drum intros of all time? Hmmmm?
For me, Aerosmith’s “Walk This Way” comes immediately to mind!
What about the Surfari’s and “Wipe Out”? Classic!
There’s always “Honky Tonk Women” from The Rolling Stones!
