Think back to the legendary William Shakespeare play, ‘Romeo & Juliet’. True love with a dramatic ending…but a recent ballet performance of the story in Turkey had a surprise ending with a twist: a cat wandered onto the stage and began biting Romeo’s hair as he lie ‘dying’! Obviously this wasn’t planned and the audience couldn’t help but chuckle. I’m more impressed that the actor playing Romeo didn’t react to the cat chewing on his hair!
