There’s a calendar in Rome that has been extremely popular for the last couple of decades.
The calendar is officially named Calendario Romano, and each edition features 12 black-and-white portraits.
This photos are close-ups of young, handsome men in priestly attire. Most simply dressed in a “clerical shirt. A black or dark-grey button-down shirt featuring a white tab collar or full round collar at the throat.
One problem: Most of these young men are not priest.
It’s raised a bit of conflict in the area, with many folks that have purchased the calendar feeling “duped”, or misled. But publishers are arguing that the calendar was intended to simply an art form, not designed to deceive the public or purchasers.
