A new biography is on the way about Stevie that focuses on specific themes and life lessons she’s learned along the way.
The book is organized around different instances and lessons that Stevie Nicks has absorbed and later shared wisdom on, drawn from interviews and comments from those in her immediate circle.
The author is Rachel Brodsky, and she describes Stevie as a “wisdom-dispersing fairy godmother” who faced skepticism from the music industry and her peers but overcame struggles with addiction and inspired new generations of musicians. Brodsky actually compared Stevie to her song, “Leather and Lace” and described her as soft and hard, romantic and practical, and sensual and sensible.
