Valerie Bertinelli opened up in an interview recently and recalled the time that she was mistaken for a “lady of the night” when she was visiting her husband Eddie Van Halen while the band was on tour.
Valerie Bertinelli and Eddie Van Halen were married from 1981 to 2001 and had a son, Wolfgang, in 1991. She met Eddie when she was 20 years old at a concert in Shreveport, Louisiana, where her brothers invited her to hand out M&Ms to the band members.
The case of “mistaken identity” happened in Brazil in the early 80’s, when she and Alex’s first wife, Valeri Kendall, tried to reunite with their spouses at a venue.
