Many actors audition for certain roles by attending special in-person auditions with producers and directors. But Jaafar Jackson shares how he got the role to play his late uncle, Michael, with just one voice text message. As you’ll hear in the video below, Jaafar told GQ magazine that he had never acted before but had an interest in the ‘Michael’ biopic. One thing led to another and he had lunch with the producer Graham King.
