I’m not sure how I feel about this. I’m not crazy about most A.I (artificial intelligence) technology because it’s a) not a real human and b) often times takes someone’s job. There’s a tech company that has created an A.I version of our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. As you’ll see in the video below, if you were to ask Jesus for advice or spiritual guidance, ‘he’ will respond. Many people have already objected saying this is blasphemy. It’s not really Jesus, so whatever the A.I. version says based upon the info it was fed. Maybe that info came from the Bible? Or is it just inspirational messages, again, fed into the computer program that replies to any paying customer. The only saving grace (pardon the pun) is that if someone truly needed guidance, they were having troubles and needed some spiritual direction, this service would probably offer at the very least, some positive advice and reflection. BUT, it’s not Jesus…so I do see validity in what the critics are saying.
